Fees for our psychological services

The fee for a standard 50-minute consultation may vary depending on your treating practitioner. This will be discussed and agreed upon either prior to your appointment or during your initial session. Please note, although consultations with all clients run for a standard duration, there is additional administration/compliance required for NDIS Planner Managed clients, which requires additional time for us to complete after each consultation and report presentation session.

Please see the fee information below. Payments can be made by EFTPOS, credit card or exact cash. Please note that rebates from Medicare or Private Health Funds cannot be made through our facilities and instead you can make claims through the Medicare Express Plus app on your smart device, or on the MyGov website on your computer.

Normal/standard sessions including self-managed NDIS sessions are charged at $250 per consultation (not including any formal report writing), or $275 per consultation for Planner managed NDIS funded clients (which covers additional time for administration/compliance).

A Medicare rebate may apply if you are eligible through one of the government's Mental Health Care Plan initiatives. Medicare rebates are calculated by the Australian Government and are subject to change.

Formal psychological assessment report writing required from consultation sessions will incur additional Report Preparation and Report Writing charges that are not covered under Medicare.

Comprehensive Cognitive and Behavioural Assessments may require up to 4 consultation sessions (ordinary hourly consultation fees apply), plus an additional cost of $1,000 (standard/NDIS self-managed clients) or $1025 (NDIS Managed clients) for the Report Preparation and Report Writing.

Therefore, for standard clients and self-managed NDIS clients the total overall fee for a Comprehensive Cognitive and Behavioural Assessment and Report is $2,000.00 (4 x $250 sessions + $1,000 report fee).

Please note for Planner managed NDIS clients the Report Preparation and Report Writing fee is $1025 ($25 more) due to extra Planner administration/compliance requirements and rounding.

Therefore, for Planner managed NDIS clients the total overall fee for a Comprehensive Cognitive and Behavioural Assessment and Report is $2,125.00 (4 x $275 sessions + $1,025 report fee).

If you require an additional Learning Disorder Assessment with the Comprehensive Cognitive and Behavioural Assessment, an additional consulting session will be required.

The total fee for standard clients and self-managed NDIS clients is $2,250.00 (5 x $250 sessions + $1000 report fee).

And for, Planner managed NDIS clients the total fee for a Learning Disorder Assessment, along with the Comprehensive Cognitive and Behavioural Assessment is $2,400.00 (5 x $275 sessions + $1,025 report fee).

It is important to note that formal assessment report writing fees are not covered under Medicare.

Please note that GST is not applicable when we provide counselling services directly to the client. GST may only be applicable for psychological report writing if the report is being provided exclusively for a third-party (medico-legal, expert witness etc.) All fees are subject to change at any time.

Fees for our Level 2 Therapy Assistant (NDIS)

Therapy assistants cover a wide range of roles that revolve around supporting a person with their wellbeing. Therapy assistants provide a mix of specific and generalised care and support to people with disability. They work under the supervision of a registered psychologist to deliver the best care plan for the client. Our Therapy Assistant rates are $80 per hour for self-managed NDIS clients and $100 per hour for Planner managed NDIS clients (due to administration fees). Please note, session availability is limited due to supervision requirements and only available for NDIS clients.
