Dimitra Arthur is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PSY0001128052), and is a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). She is included on the official Australian Psychological Society list as an Identified Practitioner for the treatment of Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. She is recognised by Autism Victoria as working primarily in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is also recognised by the Asperger Syndrome Support Network of Victoria in their list of recommended practitioners for children with Asperger's Syndrome.

Dimitra Arthur works with children, adolescents, young adults and families in both educational and community settings. She has a Master of Psychology (Education & Development) and works primarily in the assessment of children for various disorders and learning disabilities. She also works closely with speech therapists and occupational therapists to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to assessments and interventions for children with various disorders.

Dimitra’s professional and caring approach focuses on positive therapeutic techniques to explore an individual’s unique cognitive, emotional and social experience. She provides a supportive environment to create a path for positive change that can be integrated into everyday life, enhancing health, happiness and wellbeing for the individual and family.

Dimitra has a well-developed understanding of the complexities of a broad range of psychological disorders and therapeutic interventions. Her prior experience and knowledge has provided a solid foundation for her to build psychological frameworks in relation to children and family issues.

Dimitra’s work applies to the standards and ethical guidelines of the Psychologists Registration Board of Australia and the Australian Psychological Society. She has a current “Working with children” registration from the Victorian Government.

Stami Arthur is currently studying his Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), majoring in Child and Family Psychology. Stami enjoys working with children and teenagers with special needs. Stami enjoys playing tennis, video games, chess, skiing, camping and aviation.
