Dimitra Arthur is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychologist's Registration Board of Victoria (Vic 9821), and is a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). She is included on the official Australian Psychological Society list as an Identified Practitioner for the treatment of Autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorder. She is also recognised by Autism Victoria as being a specialised practitioner in the assessment and diagnosis of Austism and Pervasive Development Disorder.

Dimitra Arthur has worked with children, adolescents, young adults and families in both educational and community settings. She has a Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental) and specialises in the assessment of children for various disorders and learning disabilities.

Dimitra’s professional and caring approach focuses on positive therapeutic techniques to explore an individual’s unique cognitive, emotional and social experience. She provides a supportive environment to create a path for positive change that can be integrated into everyday life, enhancing health, happiness and wellbeing for the individual and family.

Dimitra has a well-developed understanding of the complexities of a broad range of psychological disorders and therapeutic interventions. Her prior experience and knowledge has provided a solid foundation for her to build psychological frameworks in relation to children and family issues.

Dimitra’s work applies to the standards and ethical guidelines of the Psychologists Registration Board of Victoria and the Australian Psychological Society. She has a current “Working with children” registration from the Victorian Government.
